More GrabFood Walker Update! Acceptance Rate (AR)

I've updated my previous post and stated that on some slow days, I do get orders that are far away, like 2.20-2.30km from the restaurant to the recipient.

It's like a "death sentence" for my legs. I kenna before a 2.24km walk ALL UPHILL and under the hot sun some more!! I really ... ...

You may be thinking: But you can choose to ignore and not accept the order.

Of course I can.

BUT! There is the system of Acceptance Rate (AR) whereby if you ignore (and not accept an order given), it drops pretty fast! And AR is important when it comes to Quest incentives! You need that 80% or above AR to qualify for the incentives!

Quest AR and Overall AR

There are actually 2 types of AR. It's kinda confusing but I'll try my best to explain them.

1) The Overall AR

The overall AR is:

Number of completed orders/total number of orders sent to you x 100!

So if you were sent a total of 10 orders and you missed 2 of them, you'll end up with 8/10 x 100 = 80%.

Overall AR will only get reset every Monday of the week.

2) The Quest AR

Quest AR are tied to the Quests.

Say you have a 83% Overall AR by the end of Friday, however your Quest AR (for the Weekend Quest) can be 0%! Because Quest AR is tied to the Quest only and only takes into account the orders (completed and missed) during the Quest period.

I think this is fair because one can have bad Overall AR before the start of a quest and can hardly reach the 80% requirement after many orders. So by separating Overall and Quest AR, those with bad Overall AR can still qualify for the Quests if they work hard enough during the period.

I did a quick Math..

Weekday Quest :

If you just want to get the 15 trips incentive of $20 without having to make any extra trips, you can miss up to a maximum of 3 orders.

15/18 x 100 = 83.33%

If you want to get the 25 trips incentive of $35 without having to make any extra trips, you can miss up to a maximum of 6 orders.

25/31 x 100 = 80.64%

Weekend Quest :

If you just want to get the 8 trips incentive of $10 without having to make any extra trips, you can miss up to a maximum of 2 orders.

8/10 x 100 = 80%

If you want to get the 15 trips incentive of $25 without having to make any extra trips, you can miss up to a maximum of 3 orders.

15/18 x 100 = 83.33%

So yeah, can't really miss much orders if you want that Quest incentive!
